| Description: | A green Xbox that Microsoft sold to employees in 2001. It was signed by Bill Gates and said "Xbox Launch Team 2001" and "Great Work" on the jewel on top of the console. The front of the console has a "Special Edition" wordmark on the front right near controller port 4. This console came bundled with two "Duke" controllers that were translucent green in color (matching the console) and these controllers were only ever available with these special launch team consoles which makes them as exceptionally rare as the console itself. Also available to employees at launch were six different "Not for Resale" launch titles which included Amped, Fuzion Frenzy, Halo: Combat Evolved, NFL Fever 2002, Project Gotham Racing, and Oddworld Munch's Oddysee. |
